Lord Bhu Varah:
Today's very auspicious day Varah jayanti i. e. Bhadrapad shukla trutiya. He's one of the 10 avtaras of Vishnu and first in chronological order of the series in this aeon. This kalpa or aeon is named after him as "Shwet Varah kalp". As he first lifts the trai lokas from jala samaadhi, viz. bhu, bhuvar and swaha; which also include the earth realm on his tusks after the maha pralay is over and it's the time for new creation.
Varah is shweta Varna as lord Vishnu is said to be shukla Varna and shukla vastra paridhaan in Krutayuga. Varah is tamo guna Pradhan. He not only lifts and stabilises the earth but also kills demon Hiranyaksh. Then he marries goddess Bhu devi and mates with her for sahasra Divya varshas.
Varah holds shankh, chakra, gadaa and Padma in his four hands. He's always accompanied by goddess Bhu devi in his lap in a loving mudra hence he's also called as Bhu Varah. Varah was worshipped primarily as kshetrarskshak devata in many powerful vaishnav shrines. But his power and importance is far bigger than that.
He's one of the prime Vishnu avatars, he can give bhiga and moksha both. Primarily he's worshipped for all the bhogas in material world, like health, wealth, protection, fame, success, desired wife, children, political success, enemy destruction, siddhi and especially for getting a desired land or House. But tantras and puranas mention that who ever worships lord Bhu Varah is eligible for bhoga and moksha both.
Varah is worshipped in all three forms viz.
Satvik form:
White form, white clothes, chaturbhuj with shankha, chakra, gada and Padma and bhudevi in blessing mudra, sitting on a Lotus.
Worshipped for moksha, dharma, satvik desires and mantra siddhi.
Rajasik form:
Red form, yellow clothes, adorned with best gemstones and jewellery, holding shankh, chakra, gada and Padma. Bhudevi in lap in loving mudra, standing on lotus with one leg on a hill to support bhu devi.
Worshipped for all the material bhogas as mentioned above.
Tamasik form:
Smokey or dark blue form, ferocious face, making coarse and huge sounds, fiery eyes,tusks upright to pierce into the enemy, wearing armour, red clothes, holding Shankh, chakra, gada and Padma. Piercing into Hiranyaksh with his tusks, killing evil with his mace, discuss etc.
Worshipped for victory over enemies, destruction of black magic, negativity from evil spirits or black magic or nine planets.
Although Bhu Varaha's upasana is rare but if one goes through shastras it's highly and quickly fruitful and especially gives both bhoga and moksha. But ofcourse one requires initiation into his upasana from a competent guru due to the peculiarities involved in mantra and tantra shastras. But for people who just want to worship him can also do with tulasi archana, nai edya offering then offering flowers incense, Abhishek etc.
There's a special Bhu Varah yantra which gives complete grace of the lord Varah and fulfills all the desires. We have been consecrating this yantra for last 9 years and it has shown wonderful results against the wishes for which it was intended.
We also offer initiation for lord Varaha's mantra/yantra/tantra upasana or Sadhana.
The most fruitful time for lord Varaha's worship is when Sun is in Simha rashi. In this month anybody who takes initiation or does 1.25 lakhs mantra purashcharan with 10% havan tarpan, Marjan and bramhan bhojan gets all his desires fulfilled. Especially related to building of wealth, desired house, perfect wife, progeny, shatru naash of all kinds, curing of diseases and atma dnyan.
People who cannot do sadhana, if they take the energized Bhu varah yantra with above process and place it in their puja altar and everyday offer dhoop, deep, pushpa and chant mantra for 108 times will also get desired results over a span of time.
वराहपञ्चकम्:
प्रह्लाद-ह्लादहेतुं सकल-गुणगणं सच्चिदानन्दमात्रं
सौह्यासह्योग्रमूर्तिं सदभयमरिशङ्खौ रमां बिभ्रतं च।
अंहस्संहारदक्षं विधि-भव-विहगेन्द्रे-न्द्रादि-वन्द्यं
रक्षो-वक्षोविदारोल्लस-दमलदृशं नौमि लक्ष्मीनृसिंहम्॥१॥
वामाङ्कस्थ-धराकराञ्जलिपुट-प्रेमाति-हृष्टान्तरं
सीमातीतगुणं फणीन्द्रफणगं श्रीमान्य-पादांबुजम्।
कामाद्याकरचक्र-शङ्खसुवरोद्धामाभयोद्यत्करं
सामादीड्य-वराहरूपममलं हे मानसेमं स्मर॥२॥
कोलाय लसदाकल्प-जालाय वनमालिने।
नीलाय निजभक्तौघ-पालाय हरये नमः॥३॥
धात्रीं शुभगुणपात्रीमादाय अशेषविबुध-मोदय।
शेषेतमिमदोषे धातुं हातुं च शंकिनं शंके॥४॥
नमोऽस्तु हरये युक्ति गिरये निर्जितारये।
समस्त-गुरवे कल्पतरवे परवेदिनाम्॥५॥
